How Trade Shortlist measures site use and affiliate-link performance without offering user accounts or collecting information through signup forms.
What Trade Shortlist measures
Trade Shortlist uses Google Analytics to understand visits, traffic sources, page usage, device and browser categories, approximate geography, and on-site events such as outbound exchange clicks. Google Analytics can use a first-party cookie such as_ga to distinguish browsers and sessions.
Exchange-link measurement
When a visitor opens an exchange link, Trade Shortlist can record that an outbound click occurred, the exchange destination, the page and placement that produced it, and campaign attribution. This information is used to measure referral performance and maintain working exchange destinations.
The destination exchange and its partners may collect data under their own privacy policies after the visitor leaves Trade Shortlist. Trade Shortlist does not control those third-party sites.
Data sharing and retention
Technical measurement data is processed through services used to operate the site, including Google Analytics and the hosting platform. Retention periods follow the settings configured with those providers and may differ between analytics reports and short-lived technical logs. Trade Shortlist does not currently provide user accounts, newsletters, or public forms that ask visitors to submit names, phone numbers, or payment details.
Google describes how it handles Analytics information in itspartner-sites notice.
Your choices
Browser settings and privacy tools can be used to block or delete cookies and local storage. Google also provides anAnalytics opt-out browser add-on. Trade Shortlist does not currently provide its own cookie preference center. Blocking analytics may reduce measurement, but it does not prevent a requested affiliate redirect from sending the visitor to the selected exchange.
